Hey, the top upright of this month( within the r/ Meditation subreddit, but I also think it fits in here) is the post with the designation’ Leave your breast entrance and your back entrance open. Allow your thoughts to come and go. Just don’t serve them tea’
And I’m writing this post because I wanted to give some more information about this beautiful quote.
Firstly I want to say that I think that this paraphrase is from the Zen Master Shunryu Suzuki. He has written multiple bibles and I can really recommend’ zen head apprentices sentiment ‘, and’ not ever so.’
” Leave your breast door and your back door open”
When leaving your front and back door open you grant dreams to come in, and to let them start. You don’t suppress any guess. Repressing anticipates is one of the big mistakes beings form. The harder you try to push a conceive apart, the more you will think about it. It’s like trying to still water with a flat hand.
“Allow your thoughts to come and go”
When you make everything away, then you are the observer of all the happenings in and around you. And when you are just observing you grant studies to come and go. See your thoughts like a bird flying in front of you. Observe the fledgling, but do not catch the bird. I also write about this in my ebook which you can download for free
” Just don’t provide them tea”
By only mentioning you will not serve your thoughts the tea haha
I want to thank the person behind the op’ Leave your front doorway and your back door open. Allow your thoughts to come and go. Just don’t serve them tea’ for sharing this amazing quote.
